UFC headed to Maine in August

The brand new Cross Insurance Center arena in Bangor, Maine will host the first ever UFC event in the state's history when UFC Fight Night Bangor takes place on August 16.

Dana White confirmed the news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

"For all the UFC fans in Maine I got Bangor Done!! (Aug. 16) at the brand new Cross Insurance Center for UFC Fight Night on @FoxSports1! :)," White said.
